Sign Up and Download the Ibotta App

Step 1:  Sign Up for Ibotta

You can either choose to sign up via Facebook or email. If you choose to sign up via Facebook, click the Join with Facebook. If you choose to sign up with your email, enter your information in the requested sections and click Join with Email.

Step 2: Download the Ibotta App on Your SmartPhone

Once you sign up, you will be taken to a screen that will let you download the app. Since I already have the Ibotta app on my phone, the screen shot below says Use the App. Instead, yours will say something like Download the App or Take Me To the App. You will need to click on this button.

You will then be directed to your app store. Tap on the cloud download circled in red below to begin the download.

 

Step 3: Open the Ibotta App on Your Phone

You can either tap on the Open button or tap the Ibotta icon to open the app.

Step 4: Login and Setup the Ibotta App

When you have opened the Ibotta app, you will see a screen like this. Click Log In at the bottom.

You will only need to enter your login credentials once. After you’ve logged in this time, the Ibotta app will keep you logged in.

Ibotta will ask to access your location. You will need to allow this so you will receive the most accurate rebates for the stores closest to you.

Would you like Ibotta to automatically notify you of rebates and savings? This is up to you. I do not allow it because I do not want to be bothered with extra notifications on my phone. However, if you do not mind, then you may save more money with notifications.
